It is with a very heavy heart, but with complete understanding, that I share Administration has cancelled the Motorcycle Ministries involvement in the Sturgis Rally yet again this year. We can plan on 2022 but with a shortened schedule. Here are the dates I need for the next years. Unfortunately, if I am still in this position in 2022, I won’t be there with the group which is breaking my heart. I retire July 1, 2023 which is blowing my mind!!! 2022 – August 4th – Set Up; 5-8th – Ministry Dates; 9th Clean up and go home 2023 – August 3rd – Set Up; 4-7th – Ministry Dates; 8th Clean up and go home 2024 – August 1st – Set Up; 2-5th – Ministry Dates; 6th Clean up and go home 2025 – July 31st – Set up; August 1-4th – Ministry Dates; 5th Clean up and go home These dates coincide with Administrations decision to cut the trip to a 4 day Ministry trip rather than the 8 days we used to do. I totally understand their decision and, of course, will follow their leadership.
Members of The Salvation Army Motorcycle Ministry promise to make it a priority of their lives and Christian witness, to engage themselves in the biker community where ever they are welcomed for the purpose of bringing Salvation to the lost and to serve all who are suffering without discrimination.
